Cal Poly State University, SLO
San Luis Obispo is located on California's Central Coast, midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Only 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean, San Luis Obispo is known for its moderate year round temperatures and cool, coastal evenings. Cal Poly enrolls abourt 17,000 students, and is known for its emphasis on "Learn by Doing". The 6,000-acre campus is home to about 3,500 College of Agriculutre students majoring in 16 disciplines

Through collaborative strategic planning efforts involving the faculty, staff, and industry, the mission of the California State University, Chico College of Agriculture is to create, share and disseminate knowledge of integrated agricultural and environmental systems to students, industry and society.

California State University Fresno
Fresno State's 327-acre main campus and its 1,083-acre University Farm are located at the northeast edge of Fresno, California, at the foot of the majestic Sierra Nevada range. The surrounding San Joaquin Valley is one of the richest agricultural areas in the world, and Fresno County is the sixth largest metropolitan area in California. A total of 21,389 students are enrolled. The university awarded approximately 4,000 dipolomas at its 2003 Commencement.
