Just about every educational group is promoting the importance of leadership skills as a valuable component of a person's training. The CAL mission and primay focus is to provide leadership opportunities to students enrooled in agriculture programs in the state. This fledging organization has done just that. With a fall leadership institute and a spring statewide competiion the CAL is giving students the experience and training that today's employers are looking for.
Articulate, enthusiastic, bright and energetic indviduals are what the organization wants students to become. This takes professional training that is being provided by Vocatonal Technical Educational Act dollars through our statewide grant system.
